Police ban of gay-pride march discrimination, says Hungarian Helsinki Cttee
A police decision to ban a planned annual gay-pride march through Budapest on July 7 violates not only the right of assembly but also severely discriminates against those who wish to participate, the Hungarian Helsinki Committee said on Sunday.
