Govt spokesman calls Fitch downgrade surprising
The international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has downgraded Hungary's long-term foreign and local currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDR) by one notch to 'BB plus' and 'BBB minus', from 'BBB minus' and 'BBB' respectively. The outlook on the ratings remains negative.
