Hungary population down to just under ten million in Jan-Oct
Hungary's population fell to 9,962,000 in the first ten months of 2011 with the number of births down 3.1 percent and the number of deaths down 1.3 percent from the same period last year, the Central Statistical Office KSH reported on Wednesday.
